The polygraph chart presented above is that of an actual test on a bunker surveyor suspected of corruption. In polygraph jargon, this type of test is known as a "Searching Peak of Tension Test". It is used as a follow-up test after the examinee is found deceptive to a basic test presented previously. Its objective is to find out the amount of bribe taken. The examinee is asked whether he took various amounts as indicated above. The answer was 'no'. The results showed that the amount taken was about $4,000.00. Notice that the blood pressure and other parameters 'peaked' at this question.
